I purchased the smaller size first - which is alright if you want something truly compact for a backpacking trip or whatever. The pieces are all identical with stickers to distinguish them. That being said, I prefer this larger size with unique pieces that make them more easily identifiable. Either one is a solid choice depending on your situation.
